GSW provides representation and advice to both sports organizations and to athletes, coaches and other officials.

On behalf of sports organizations we provide a wide range of services, including:

  • enforcement of eligibility rules and regulations
  • conducting disciplinary matters affecting both athletes and coaches
  • advice regarding legal liability for both on and off field activities and conduct
  • development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act

We also act for athletes and coaches who by circumstance are forced to resort to the legal process to enforce or defend rights to which they are entitled, including:

  • reviewing the selection process for teams
  • appealing rulings made by asssociations of which they are members
  • appearing on their behalf at private hearings or in court
