Gourlay Spencer Wade LLP
A Tradition of Legal Excellence
In 1980, the firm of Gourlay Spencer Wade was founded by two long-time friends, Peter Spencer and Robert Gourlay. From 1982 to 1985, Gourlay and Spencer were associated with the firm of Shrum Liddle & Hebenton, now McCarthy Tétrault.
On April 1, 1999, Alastair Wade joined Gourlay Spencer and the firm became known as Gourlay Spencer Wade.
On June 16, 2005, Robert Gourlay died. The firm continues the tradition of legal excellence established by Rob.
